Our client was a family business operating almost 20 petrol forecourts and convenience stores across England. For decades, the company was run successfully from home. However, as the next generation stepped up to take over the family business, they were eager to establish a professional office space to hold external meetings and allow staff to collaborate more effectively.
The brief
The Richardsons team was tasked with designing and furnishing a brand-new professional head office space within the mezzanine of one of our client’s newly refurbished stations. The new office design needed to accommodate all business needs, including 12 staff desks, a boardroom equipped with video conferencing, directors’ desks, hotdesking areas, a lounge and breakout space, and a dedicated prayer room.
Our approach
The team worked extremely closely with the owners of the business to bring their vision to life in meticulous detail. While Richardsons handled the office design, layout, and furniture supply for the Wakefield office, the client managed on-site installations such as the carpet and kitchen area. We therefore liaised carefully with the other tradespeople involved in the project to manage timelines and ensure a seamless delivery.
