The company invited Richardsons to support with planning and designing their office refurbishment at its head office space in Leeds.
The brief
GMI wanted to bring its office space up to date to reflect the high quality of the construction work the company completes for its clients.
The head office needed to be a welcoming and impressive environment for client meetings, showcase best industry practices in sustainability, and facilitate collaboration within the team.
Our approach
Our team immersed themselves in GMI’s processes to plan and design a space that would best support staff, increase collaboration and boost productivity.
To minimise disruption to GMI’s business operations during the refurbishment, we completed the project over three phases and worked out of hours where necessary.
We kept sustainability at the centre of the project, including solutions such as sourcing corporate office furniture using sustainable materials for use throughout the office.
