Brownridge Transport is a well-established haulage company in Leeds with a history of over a hundred years. The business was relocating its operations to a new building, requiring a new office design to be created and implemented. Brownridge Transport partnered with the Richardsons team for its transport sector office interiors to create a new office it could be proud of.
The brief
The Leeds transport company’s office furniture and design needed to reflect the new, modern era of Brownridge Transport. Not only did the office furniture and design need to support staff to do their best work, it needed to be a high-quality space for visitors and clients to enjoy.
Our approach
To support productivity and efficiency, we split the haulage company’s office design into distinct zones. The ground floor was designated as a client-facing area, with meeting rooms, breakout spaces, and a large kitchen area.
Upstairs was dedicated to ergonomic staff workstations. The layout of various Brownridge Transport departments was determined by the level of focused work required, with the accounts team separated from more collaborative departments like marketing by glass-enclosed offices.

The result has been a modern and prestigious office space designed around staff and clients.
